Dutch Theater Group Orkater will stage a production of Shakespeare’s Richard III with live music written by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan in Amsterdam from Sept 22th to Oct 12th.
Renowned Dutch theater production company Orkater and Amsterdam’s main theater De Stadsschouwburg have announced the staging of Shakespeare’s Richard III. Orkater and De Stadsschouwburg adapted the Shakespeare play and created a music theater performance with music by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan. Among the songs performed in the play are “Misery Is The River Of The World”, “God’s Away On Business”, “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”, “I’ll Shoot The Moon”, “Underground” and “The Part You Throw Away”.
